Terms of Service

3.1 Account Requirements

To use LM Dating, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Use your real identity (no fake profiles or impersonation)
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years old
• Legally able to enter into binding agreements
• Located in a jurisdiction where the service is available
• Not previously banned from LM Dating

3.3 Location and Matching

The app may detect your location to enable distance-based matching. You can manually adjust location settings and distance preferences at any time in the app preferences. Location data is used only for matching purposes and approximate distance is shown to other users, not your exact location.

4.1 General Use

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
• Not use the App in any way that could damage or impair the service
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect other users' boundaries and consent

5.1 Export Functionality

You can export your data at any time:

• Export profile information, matches, messages, and preferences
• Available in multiple formats (CSV, JSON)
• Full data portability as required by data protection laws
• Export functionality is available in app settings

5.2 Export Responsibility

You are responsible for securely storing exported data. We recommend keeping regular backups of your exported data.

6.1 Our Rights

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Use our trademarks or logos without permission
• Remove or alter any copyright notices
• Use the App to create competing products

6.2 Your Content

Content you create in the App (profile information, photos, messages, prompts) remains your property. However, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the service
• Display your profile to other users for matching purposes
• Use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement and analytics
• Back up your data for disaster recovery

7.1 Pricing (Subject to Change)

Pricing details are available in the app. During development and after launch, pricing is subject to change with notice.

7.2 Subscription Services (When Available)

LM Dating offers subscription-based access. Terms include:

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime through iOS Settings or Google Play Store
• No Refunds: Generally, no refunds for unused subscription time (subject to app store policies)
• Price Changes: We may change prices with 30 days notice

7.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through RevenueCat and managed via Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing, refunds, and purchase management are subject to their respective terms. Prices are displayed in your selected currency or auto-detected based on your location.

7.4 Free Trial

If offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

9.1 Data Retention

We retain your data:

• While your account is active
• As required by law
• For safety and security purposes

9.2 Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through app settings or by contacting support. Upon deletion:

• Your personal data will be deleted within 90 days
• Backups will be purged within 30 days
• Anonymous, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely
• Your messages will be removed from other users' inboxes

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Ensure you export any data you want to keep before deleting.

10.1 No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the App will meet your specific requirements
• That you will find matches or relationships
• The accuracy of user-provided information

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• Issues arising from third-party service failures
• Your interactions with other users
• Any outcomes from using the dating service

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10.3 Beta and Development Features

Features marked as "beta" or "experimental" are provided without warranty and may be unstable. Use at your own risk.

10.4 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. We do not conduct background checks on users. You are responsible for verifying the identity and authenticity of other users before meeting in person or sharing personal information.

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through app settings or contacting support at support@dealfusion.co.uk.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal activity or misuse of the service
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior
• Creating fake profiles or impersonation
• Any other reason at our discretion

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• You lose access to your data (export before terminating)
• Provisions that should survive (liability, indemnity) remain in effect
• No refunds for unused subscription time (unless required by law)

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13.3 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@dealfusion.co.uk to attempt informal resolution.

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LM Dating.

14.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor or affiliate.
